Helpful Writing Hint: Are you looking for a job as a chef? If so, write a cover letter that includes all the information necessary to attract a hiring manager and compel him or her to invite you in for an interview. That means your specific experience as a lead chef, pastry chef, prep cook, assistant chef or whatever it might be. Provide examples of what you do or did and how that has influenced your career. Have you received any awards for your work, won a contest, or enhanced the menu of the establishment where you worked?

Remember that you want the hiring manager to notice you and to be motivated to consider you for the job in question.
